Plan assault missions on a NATO-compatible tech stack.
Because of it’s compatibility with DELTA situational awareness system, Skyrat-1 enabled drones automatically become a part of a network. This allows units to operate within Network-centric Warfare paradigm which proved it’s potency in the war in Ukraine.
In conjunction with a flight control software like iNav or ArduPilot, the Skyrat enabled drone becomes a GPS-free stealth bomber able to fly autonomous and semi-autonomous missions and come back to base. Engineers can pre-program the device to fly to the strike zone in stealth mode (neither using easily suppressed GPS signal nor emitting any radio signals) and then either activate control backlink to the operator or trigger detonation mechanism upon arrival.
Stealth mode enabled by this combination allows personnel to keep personnel protected from tracing by radio signal. Drones can be deployed and collected from any point within their travel range.
Due to Skyrat enabled drones’ autonomous travel ability, it’s becomes possible to program them to fly automated reconnaissance missions. As a part of the visual odometry technology, the Skyrat-1 module takes thousands of pictures for navigation, which can be used for intelligence purposes.
The module also collects topographical data which can be used to recreate the features of the covered territory. This capability creates a topographical map, such as you would get from a LiDAR. Moreover, the collected topographical data is then used in bomber missions to increase accuracy of UAV navigation.
This mode (also called retranslator) allows to extend communication range for a network or several connected devices. A drone is deployed to a designated spot and begins loitering, enhancing a signal sent to it by the root node. Loitering time is only limited by the device’s battery.
